So let me get this straight... we elect our officials and pay them our money to build moats and duck islands; pay our bills so corporations can get fat; get taxed to the hilt for services that don't even work properly and the end result is that all these entities got so greedy they even screwed themselves and basically bankrupted the country and now WE, the people, have to tighten OUR belts so these guardians of our prosperity can pay off all their debts?
